Photo Stream is one of the cool features that are part of Apple’s iCloud service. Shared Photo Streams are among the best aspects of Picture Stream. A shared Photo Stream, as the name would imply, lets you quickly and nearly instantly share a specific set of pictures with friend and family.

Even much better is this little additional attribute in shared photo streams: the ability to make a shared Picture Stream a public site. And it’s really easy to do. Here’s how:

– Open the Settings app on your iPad (or iPhone), scroll down in the left sidebar, and tap on the ‘Photos and Camera’ section

– Make sure that both My Photo Stream and Shared Picture Streams are switched on– as shown in the screenshot above.

– If you haven’t created any photo streams yet, it’s easy to do so. Simply open the Photos app, choose a cd (Camera Roll for example), and ta [p the ‘Edit’ button on top right of the page. Then tap to select the photos you want to be in your photo stream– every one you tap will reveal a blue circle and a checkmark.

Once you’ve your option, tap the ‘Share’ button at the top left of the page– and select Picture Stream from the sharing buttons.

– This will bring up a popover dialog where you can decide to include the picked pictures to an existing Image Stream or create a brand-new Photo Stream. If this is your first one, then you’ll just see the latter choice– so tap New Picture Stream.

– The next popover will show a first industry where you welcome friend and family to your shared Image Stream, then a field where you name the Picture Stream, and lastly a field where you can decide to create a public site for the shared Photo Stream– just by toggling the button to On. Fill in the two fields and tap to turn the general public internet site On.

– Tap ‘Next’ and include a comment if you such as on the next dialog that turns up. The tap ‘Post’. Now your brand-new Picture Stream is developed and has been shared to individuals you selected.
